EXPERIENCE

Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work with  big and small companies as a consultant and on staff. I've worked on early stage conceptual products and entrenched long-standing products.  I've had the chance to dive deep into design, human-centered research, product management, team leadership, small business ownership...I've even messed around with lasers!

All these experiences have made me a better designer and leader and working partner. I want to share my experiences with you!

NORTHWOODS  (2017 - 2022)

Northwoods makes human-centered software for human services organizations. Thousands of caseworkers across the United States use Northwoods software every day to collect and work with documents and data in service of helping folks in social services programs.

As Director of Product, I led Product Management and Product Design for all of Northwoods' products.

STARTUPS  (2015 - 2016)

I took some time to help a few Columbus startups:

CollegeEase: aimed at helping underserved high school students explore and connect with colleges.

Fit Food: tried to create a subscription meal service geared toward fitness enthusiasts.

StepItUp: a startup within Pillar Technologies that looked to innovate corporate training through crowdsourcing.

MEDWIZ TECHNOLOGIES  (2008 - 2015)

MedWiz Technologies is a small pharmacy technology company focused on electronic Medication Administration Records (eMAR) for assisted living and other long-term care facilities. I began as a design consultant and soon joined as  a do-it-all, small company CXO - research, strategy, design, development, training, and support.
